South Australia cops have shared security video of a kangaroo bouncing through the deserted state capital of Adelaide. With the city’s 1.3 million homeowners confined to their houses by the coronavirus pandemic, the intrepid marsupial took the rare chance to securely check out the human environment– though there was at least close call with a vehicle.
” Protective Security Officers tracked a suspect wearing a grey fur coat hopping through the heart of the #adelaide CBD today,” the South Australia Police tweeted on Sunday. “He was last seen on foot heading into the West Parklands.”
This lone kangaroo isn’t the only animal who has actually boldly ventured into a city environment in recent weeks. Last month a herd of goats took control of the town of Llandudno, Wales, eating hedges and blatantly neglecting social distancing guidelines. Llandudno is much smaller than Adelaide, with a population of around 20,00 0.
