Eric Zaragoza=EZ: It’s a little nonprofit sun grown garden I started from scratch in 2017 in southern California. The primary thing I am committed to is utilizing the land and developing a healthy living soil for the future. A 2nd fundamental tool I make use of is planting crops that draw in useful pests and let nature to blaze a trail and do its part rather of taking the simpler conventional method of using development hormones or spraying harmful pesticides, fungicides, insecticides or anything that’s going to infect and toxin the earth. Everything is planted from seed in the spring and goes full time till the fall never ever seeing synthetic light it’s the very best way to regard nature in my viewpoint. Something else that I have actually practiced over time is going straight to individuals in public, celebrations, marijuana occasions and sharing the cannabis I grow to promote the importance of regional small company and value of having access to clean marijuana at no charge for patients. Cigarette smoking cannabis has actually belonged to my life for 16 years now and what pushed me to make the transfer to grow my own was seeing the increase of Prop 64 and checking out how all the unjust policies were affecting the clients and growers throughout California and Ventura County. On the flip side of that I enjoy being outdoors in nature and smoking cigarettes cannabis so it went together and made more sense for me to grow marijuana rather of supporting companies I have actually never ever satisfied or become aware of until now.

EZ: Truthfully I’m motivated by a handful of things and people but two people that stick out to me the most is my bro Jason who was able to go from sleeping on the floor with me to becoming a lawyer. Another person is my sibling Omar who invested 12 years behind bars and even experienced being locked down in the hole.

WB: What are your goals in company?

EZ: I attempt not to think too far ahead I’m simply concentrated on getting to harvest but one objective I have is to make outside growing more typical and be apart of school tasks to show the youth the importance of soil and planting your own garden. Six and twelve month objective? A short term goal I have is to test the soil to be accurate on anything that might require to be repaired. For a long term objective I ‘d say working together with a cbd business to make a strain or just to collaborate and do a line of cbd/thc instilled topicals, tinctures. What about barriers? Barriers are everywhere I look at it like things can be even worse. My mindset is to never ever stay down breaking any obstacle in life and turn up on the top no matter what obstacle is thrown at me. What about stigmas? The misconception of the marijuana plant as being a cash plant instead of being acknowledged for the healing advantages.

WB: Do you have a favorite food memory?

EZ: Yes, enjoying my grandmother making flour tortillas she had a strong passion for cooking.

WB: What Is your passion?

EZ: My passion is to grow the greatest quality sungrown cannabis and help individuals that are not lucky.
